Whether you’re hosting friends for the Masters or simply soaking in a slow afternoon, this Egg Salad is the perfect dish to serve. Light, refreshing, and easy to prepare ahead of time, it brings a touch of Southern charm to your table – just like the iconic egg salad sandwiches served at Augusta. Made with hard-boiled eggs, crunchy celery, fresh dill, and a hint of mustard, this recipe is simple, satisfying, and full of flavor. Serve it on soft white bread, over crisp lettuce, or as a dip with crackers while you watch the final round.

    Masters Copy Cat Egg Salad

    Ingredients:

    • 8 large hard boiled eggs, cooled and peeled
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard or Dijon mustard
    • 1 green onion thinly sliced
    • 1 rib celery finely diced
    • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
    • Salt and black pepper to taste

    Directions:

    1. Cut the eggs in half. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl or a shallow dish. Finely chop the egg whites.
    2. Using a fork, mash the egg yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, and a pinch of salt & pepper until smooth and creamy.
    3. Add the chopped egg whites, green onion, and celery. Stir well.
    4. Serve on bread or over lettuce.

How to Hard Boil Eggs on the Stove:

    1. Place eggs in a saucepan on the stovetop and cover with water ½-inch above the eggs.
    2. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
    3. Remove from the heat and let stand covered for 15-17 minutes (for large eggs).
    4. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes.

How to Hard Boil Eggs in the Air Fryer:
You can grab my FAVORITE air fryer here!

    1. Preheat to 250°F
    2. Place eggs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, and cook for 15-17 minutes.
    3. Immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking and make peeling easier.
