    Honey Mustard Chicken BLT Sliders

    For the Sliders:

    • 6 brioche slider buns
    • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into slider-sized pieces)
    • 6 slices bacon
    • 6 slices mild cheddar or mozzarella cheese
    • Romaine lettuce, torn to slider size
    • 1–2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
    • ½ red onion, thinly sliced

    Mild Chicken Seasoning:

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

    Honey Mustard Sauce:

    • ¼ cup avocado oil–based mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
    • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
    • ¼ cup honey

    Directions:

    1. Preheat grill or griddle to medium heat.
    2. Season the chicken: Toss chicken with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
    3. Cook the bacon: Grill or griddle until crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel–lined plate.
    4. Grill the chicken: Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side or until cooked through (165°F internal temp). Add cheese during the final minute to melt.
    5. Toast brioche buns: Lightly toast cut sides on the grill until golden, if desired.
    6. Make the honey mustard sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayo, mustard, vinegar, and honey.
    7. Assemble the sliders
      – Bottom bun
      – Romaine lettuce
      – Tomato slice
      – Cheesy grilled chicken
      – Bacon
      – Red onion slices
      – Drizzle of honey mustard
      – Top bun

    Picky Eater Tip:

Let kids build their own slider! Set out all the ingredients buffet-style—cheesy chicken, bacon, buns, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and honey mustard on the side.

This gives them the freedom to choose what goes on their sandwich (even if it’s just chicken and cheese), and they’re more likely to eat it when they get to “make it their way.”

Even if it’s just bread, chicken, and cheese, giving them control makes them more likely to enjoy it.
You can also serve everything deconstructed for little ones.

Bonus: You can cut sliders in half for smaller appetites or serve the chicken and toppings deconstructed with a side of bread.
