This Clean Ranch Snack Mix is packed with whole-grain pretzels and crackers, air-popped popcorn, and crunchy cashews — all tossed in a zesty homemade ranch seasoning made from pantry spices and heart-healthy olive oil. It’s perfect for school lunches, road trips, or anytime you need a grab-and-go snack that’s both satisfying and better-for-you. Bonus: it’s easy to customize and makes a big batch that the whole family will love!
Clean Ranch Snack Mix
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole-grain pretzels
- 2 cups whole-grain crackers
- 2 cups air-popped popcorn
- 1½ cups raw cashews
Seasoning mix: (can also use store bought if preferred)
- 2 Tbsp dried parsley
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp dried dill
- 1 tsp dried chives (optional)
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast (optional but adds savory depth)
Coating:
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment.
- Mix base ingredients in a big bowl (pretzels, crackers, popcorn, cashews, seeds).
- Combine olive oil + seasoning in a small bowl and whisk well.
- Pour seasoning mixture over the dry mix and toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread on baking sheet in an even layer.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Keep an eye out so the popcorn doesn’t burn.
- Cool completely, then store in an airtight container for up to a week.
