There’s something special about the slow, simple ritual of making coffee at home. It’s more than just saving money – though skipping the $6 coffee shop stop definitely adds up. It’s about creating a moment for yourself. A quiet pause before the day gets busy. When you make your own coffee, you’re in control: of the sweetness, the strength, the creaminess, and even the vibe. Want it extra strong with just a splash of cream? You got it. Want a lightly sweetened iced drink with local honey and your favorite non-dairy milk? Done.
This iced honey coffee is a beautiful example of just how easy and delicious a homemade coffee can be. It’s refreshing, smooth, and naturally sweetened with just one or two ingredients you probably already have. Plus, there’s no waiting in line, no spelling your name wrong on the cup – just your perfect coffee, your way.
The BEST Summer Iced Coffee from Home!
Ingredients:
- 1-2 TBS honey
- Hot coffee or espesso
- Milk or half and half of choice
- Lots of ice
Directions:
- Pour honey into the bottom of a coffee mug
- Brew coffee – I use my nespresso. This will let the honey melt into the coffee. Stir well or use a frother
- Fill cup with lots of ice. Pour coffee over ice and finish off with milk/half and half.
