If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Halloween snacks, it’s that they should be as fun to make as they are to eat – and this Monster Munch Popcorn Mix checks all the boxes. It’s sweet, salty, crunchy, and perfectly spooky with every handful. The best part? It takes just minutes to throw together, making it ideal for last-minute movie nights, classroom parties, or trick-or-treat gatherings.
I love setting this out in a big bowl for everyone to grab from, but it’s also perfect for scooping into little treat bags for a festive touch. Between the popped popcorn, pretzels, candy corn, and drizzle of melted chocolate (plus a few candy eyeballs staring back at you 👀), it’s a playful, colorful mix that disappears faster than you can say “boo!” Whether you’re hosting a Halloween get-together or just want to surprise your kids with something fun after school, this Monster Munch is guaranteed to be a crowd favorite.
Monster Munch Popcorn Mix
Ingredients:
- 1 full bag (about 4–5 cups) LesserEvil popcorn – Himalayan Pink Salt or Sweet & Salty
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
- 1 cup mini pretzels
- ⅓ cup candy corn or mellowcreme pumpkins
- Halloween sprinkles (orange, black, purple — and a few candy eyeballs if you have them)
- Optional: a handful of roasted peanuts or pumpkin seeds for a little crunch + balance
Directions:
- Prep: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread popcorn evenly.
- Top: Scatter the pretzels and candy corn over the popcorn.
- Melt white chocolate: Microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle: Pour or drizzle the melted chocolate over the mix so everything gets a light coating.
- Sprinkle: Add Halloween sprinkles right away while the chocolate is still warm so they stick.
- Set & break: Let cool 15–20 minutes (or pop in the fridge for 5), then break into clusters.
