    There’s something so special about having a house full of laughter, food, and people you love. I always say my favorite kind of weekend is one where the kitchen stays busy, the music never stops, and the couch somehow fits more people than you thought possible. But by Monday morning… the house is quiet again — and a reset is definitely in order.

    Whether you hosted a big game night, a casual dinner party, or just had friends over for one too many cups of coffee, here’s how I like to ease into Monday and get back to feeling refreshed and ready for the week.

    Here are a few tips that help me get back on track!

    Set your alarm somewhere where you have to physically get out of bed to turn it off. I leave mine in our bathroom.

    Have your favorite cozy blanket and devotional ready to go, and your favorite candle on standby!

    When that alarm dings, I want you to countdown 5-4-3-2-1, and then get your booty up!

    Like any habit, it takes time to establish. Your routine will look different than mine, but take what applies to you, and create your own. Start with 5 minutes earlier, set your alarm somewhere in the room you have to get up to turn it off, and prepare for the morning the night before.
