Midweek is when I am so tempted to get off track with routines- but, I also know that sticking with it will only help me have a better week!! Instead of completely skipping my routine, I wake up 15 minutes later on Wednesdays – it’s a great compromise, and still gives me time to get my routine in!
My morning routine changes with the seasons. I love working from home, but during the summer that means getting creative and working when I can. I swap my early morning workouts for work, and then exercise when the kids are awake. Knocking out big things before they are up for the day really helps ease my anxiety and feeling pressured to get things done.
Here are a few tips that help me get back on track!
Set your alarm somewhere where you have to physically get out of bed to turn it off. I leave mine in our bathroom.
Have your favorite cozy blanket and devotional ready to go, and your favorite candle on standby!
When that alarm dings, I want you to countdown 5-4-3-2-1, and then get your booty up!
Make yourself a pitcher of infused water to help you get rehydrated

This is what I drink before I workout! I love it and I’ve used it 6 years! It is clean pre workout and gives you just enough get up and go! Strawberry lemonade is my fave!
Here are SEVEN of my Prep Ahead Breakfasts I make!
Like any habit, it takes time to establish. Your routine will look different than mine, but take what applies to you, and create your own. Start with 5 minutes earlier, set your alarm somewhere in the room you have to get up to turn it off, and prepare for the morning the night before.
I hope this helps you!!
