For this trip, we’re concentrating on stocking up on snacks. We always begin with produce and finish with packaged snacks.
I love crunchy, salty treats, but I also know that if I prioritize fresh items like fruits and veggies first, I’ll have less room in my cart and budget for less healthy options.
Snack preferences vary widely, but I aim for minimally processed choices. Some days are better than others, but these brands are our favorites, and these foods are staples in our weekly rotation.
One strategy that has worked well for us is distinguishing between “pantry snacks” and “fridge snacks.” We allow ourselves one of each and avoid buying items we’ll regret having to say no to later.
