Crescent Roll Christmas Tree Cheese Bombs

    Ingredients

    • 2 tubes (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough- this will make 32 balls
    • 32 mozzarella cubes (¾–1 inch)
    • OR mozzarella string cheese sticks, cut into 32 bite size pieces
    • ~½ cup Philadelphia Whipped Garlic & Herb Cream Cheese Spread
    • (½–1 tsp per dough square)
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
    • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
    • 1 garlic clove, grated or minced
    • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh)
    • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • Pinch of salt
    • 2 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan

    • Cheddar/provolone cheese star, optional

    Directions:

    1. Prep

    • Preheat oven to 375°F.

    • Line a baking sheet with parchment.

    • Unroll crescent dough, press seams together lightly (youll do one tube of dough at a time)

    • spread thin layer of whipped cream cheese on dough

    2. After spreading cream cheese…

    1. Cut dough into 16 squares
    2. Place 1 mozzarella cube (or string cheese piece) on top of the cream cheese square
    3. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.

    3. Wrap + seal

    • Pull the corners of the dough up and around the cheese.

    • Pinch the seams tightly to seal.

    • Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

    4. Shape the Christmas tree

    • Arrange balls into a Christmas tree shape, using 1–2 for the trunk
    • Leave about ½ inch between each so they puff beautifully.

    5. Add garlic herb butter

    • Mix butter + garlic + parsley + Italian seasoning + salt.
    • Brush generously over each dough ball.

    6. Bake

    • Bake 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden.
    • Brush with remaining butter immediately after baking.

    7. Finish

    • Sprinkle with Parmesan + parsley for that snowy look.

    • Add your cheese star at the top if you’d like.
