Are you a morning person? While mornings have always been my most productive time of the day- I did not get up early and have a solid morning routine until I was drowning and I felt like I had no other choice!
I received advice that changed SO much for me- wake up before your kids! I was so tired my first thought was “how in the world can I get up earlier? I am already exhausted!” But, although I knew it would be hard, I was willing to try because I WANTED to change.
My morning routine became life giving- it transformed my attitude, my outlook, my productivity and my health! It has become a constant in my life..
Who knew a morning routine could be so powerful?! And because it has helped me so much, you know I want you to have it too!!! Start with waking up 5 minutes earlier- doing one more thing than you did yesterday!
Set your alarm somewhere where you have to physically get out of bed to turn it off.
Have your favorite cozy blanket and devotional ready to go, and your favorite candle on standby!
When that alarm dings, I want you to countdown 5-4-3-2-1, and then get your booty up!

Like any habit, it takes time to establish. Your routine will look different than mine, but take what applies to you, and create your own. Start with 5 minutes earlier, set your alarm somewhere in the room you have to get up to turn it off, and prepare for the morning the night before.
