These easy-to-make treats are perfect for stirring into a cozy mug of cocoa or gifting to loved ones as part of a thoughtful holiday bundle. The creamy white chocolate and crushed peppermint add a delightful flavor and festive flair, and they’re so much fun to make—kids will love helping with the candy cane crushing! Pair them with hot cocoa mix, marshmallows, and THESE spoon molds to create a holiday gift that’s as sweet to give as it is to receive.
Peppermint White Chocolate Spoons
Needed:
- THESE spoon molds
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups white melting chocolate
- 2 finely crushed candy canes
What I Packaged with Ours:
- Hot chocolate mix of your choice
- Fillable ornaments – I bought at dollar tree
- Marshmallows
- Mug toppers
- Candy canes
Directions:
- Melt white chocolate in the microwave according to package instructions.
- Place candy canes in a ziplock bag and crush with a meat hammer or rolling pin- this is a great step for the kids to help with
- Mix crushed candy canes in with the white chocolate and pour into molds (don’t worry if it isn’t perfect- it will still work!)
- Take a small broken piece of candy cane and add it to the neck of the spoon- this will add reinforcement. Cover with chocolate.
- Place in the freezer for 10 minutes
- Pull silicone mold away from the chocolate- this is the easiest way to remove!
