SKIP TO THIS WEEK’S PREP RECIPES
I started prepping snacks for the week when my Warren was about 6 months old, and I was absolutely drowning trying to balance a 40+ hour career in medicine, motherhood, and running our household.
It felt overwhelming at first, but I realized I didn’t need every single snack to be perfectly curated. Keeping it simple made all the difference.
Each weekend, I started setting aside a little time to prep grab-and-go snacks for the kids—things like cutting up fresh fruits and veggies, portioning out nuts, cheese cubes, or crackers, and even making fun little snack boxes.
Presentation is everything for my kids. When snacks are colorful, ready to eat, and stored neatly in clear containers, they get excited about eating healthier options.
Taking just 30 minutes to prep snacks for the week saves us so much stress and chaos during those busy afternoons when everyone’s hungry and time is short!
What snacks I prepped for the week: (Be sure to click the image to grab the recipe!):
I used heart shaped molds for my banana muffins this week, to give it a little Valentine’s day flair!
You can find the molds I used HERE.
I also love prepping fresh cut fruit and vegetables as well as meat and cheese jars. I place these in jars and silicone baggies to have them easily accessible in the fridge for when the kids need something to grab!
You can find all my favorite organization containeres HERE!
If this is helpful for you, send to a fellow momma who could use it! ❤️
