Now that the kids are officially out of school, it’s go time for summer snacks, swimsuits, and poolside everything. I ran to Sam’s Club to stock up for the weeks ahead, and I wanted to share my full haul in case you’re in the same season of life—feeding little people from sun-up to sundown and trying to keep everything simple and stocked.
Here’s what I grabbed for easy summer days:
1. Sun protection & summer gear
-
Banana Boat 50 Sunscreen — because we live outside in the summer.
-
Pink checkered Mommy & Me swimsuits (Member’s Mark) — cutest set for twinning at the pool!
2. Pool snacks & on-the-go bites
We love having snacks ready to grab for the pool bag or for backyard play. I try to find things that are individually packed or easy to toss in a cooler:
-
Crunchmaster Multi-Grain 5 Seed Crackers (2 bags)
-
Sun Chips Variety Pack (30 bags)
-
Pop Chips Variety Pack (30 bags)
-
Freeze-Dried Strawberry Slices (Member’s Mark)
-
Member’s Mark Pitted Prunes
-

-
Wonderful Pistachios (21-pack)
-
Jack Link’s Mini Turkey Sticks (24 sticks)
-
The Better Nut Bar – Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt (Member’s Mark)
-
Motts Applesauce Box
3. A random must have for us
-
132 count of 16 oz Cups (Member’s Mark) – always running through these in the summer!
4. Easy proteins for quick meals
I love having protein on hand to throw together lunches or dinners without thinking too hard.
-
Member’s Mark Seasoned Fully Cooked Grilled Chicken Bites
-
Just Bare Chicken Breast Bites
-
Rotisserie Chicken (a classic!)
-
Jack Link’s Turkey Sticks again here—high protein & easy
5. Freezer finds
Smoothies, popsicles, and frozen fruit are summer staples here:
-
Frozen Blueberries
-
Frozen Fruit Mix (green bag)
-
Chobani 20g Protein Yogurts
6. Fresh produce
I try to stock up and prep produce as soon as I get home so it’s grab-and-go ready:
-
Fresh Blueberries
-
Strawberries
-
Lettuce
-
Mini Peppers
-
Corn on the Cob
-
Pickles (because always)
This haul gets us through pool days, quick lunches, and snacks-on-the-go without constantly running back to the store. I put together a free downloadable version of this list if you want to keep it handy for your next Sam’s run — you can download it here!
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these or have a summer must-have I need to grab next time!
