There’s something about waking up on Easter morning to the scent of something fresh, floral, and calming—it just feels like new life. Whether you’re hosting brunch or enjoying a slow morning with your family, this Easter Simmer Pot is a beautiful way to bring the spirit of the season into your home.

Made with delicate rose petals, bright lemon slices, fresh herbs, and calming essential oils, this stovetop potpourri fills your space with the loveliest natural fragrance. It’s the easiest way to create that cozy, thoughtful ambiance—no candles needed.

What is a Simmer Pot?

A simmer pot is simply a blend of fresh fruits, herbs, and spices simmered in water on your stovetop or in an electric simmering pot. As the ingredients warm up, they release their natural aromas, filling your home with a fresh and inviting scent.

Unlike candles or store-bought air fresheners, simmer pots are completely customizable, using ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen. Plus, they’re free from synthetic fragrances and chemicals, making them a healthier choice for your home and family.

My Favorite Easter Simmer Pot Recipe

This bright and refreshing blend captures the essence of Easter perfectly:

Ingredients:

  • Water
  • 1 tbsp dried or fresh lavender

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced

  • 1 sprig of fresh mint

  • Roses or rose buds (about 6 spray roses, stems removed)

  • 1 cup rose petals

  • 10 drops of rose essential oil

  • 10 drops of lavender essential oil

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a large pot or saucepan.
  2. Fill with water and bring to a gentle simmer over low heat.
  3. Keep it going throughout the morning—just add more water as needed.

Whether you’re setting the stage for a meaningful family morning or just want a touch of spring in the air, this Easter Simmer Pot is the perfect little tradition to add to your celebration.

✨ Tip: This also makes a lovely gift! Add the ingredients to a jar with a tag for a simple, heartfelt hostess gift or Easter basket add-on.
