A super fun and simple Halloween snack board that is kid and adult friendly!!
I threw in some fun candy boogers (which the kids obviously loved) along with chocolate eyeballs for a little extra spooky touch!
These hot dog spiders are so easy! And a great size for kids- they will actually eat the entire thing! This is perfect if you are going to a Halloween party! Let me know if you make it!!
What I used:
- Candy Corn Pumpkins
- Chocolate eyballs
- Candy Boogers
- Yum Earth lollipops
- Clementines (made into pumpkins- I used a small cucumber slice for the stem)
- Hot Dog spiders
- Assorted meats and cheeses
- Green apple slices with peanut butter and ghost sprinkles
- Cucumbers
- Mini sweet peppers
- Carrot Slices
Spider Hot Dogs
Ingredients:
- Hot dogs – (I highly recommend Applegate hot dogs or uncured turkey dogs)
- Crescent roll dough
- Candy eyeballs
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut the ends off of the hot dogs. Then cut hot dogs in half crosswise. Keeping the middle intact, make three slices on both ends of the hot dog to create 4 “spider legs”.
- Each hot dog will make 2 spiders.
- Remove crescent roll dough and cut into strips about 1 inch wide and 2-3 inches long. Wrap dough around hot dogs and pinching to seal. Place seem side down and press on two candy eyeballs.
- Space hot dog spiders out on a baker sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
